Cooking Class
This FREE cooking class for adults provides parents, guardians and friends the opportunity to learn and share some simple dishes that are sure to be delicious!
The group enjoy sharing recipes and decide what to cook each week over a meal. If you would like to meet new people or do something for fun, new class members are always welcome. |
EAL for Adults
This FREE English class for adults who live in Roxburgh Park is recognised by Centrelink and runs every school term. The course suits beginners to intermediate people and is designed to improve your Writing, Reading, Listening and Oral Language skills. Meet new people and practise English with us at our excursions to restaurants and other outings. The English course also helps people find work or get into further studies.

Playgroup
The playgroup for families with children under the age of 5 years. It is a time for parents and guardians to teach their child the value and importance of developmental play.

From Garden to TableFrom Garden to Table is one of few programs in Hume to combine community gardens, horticultural education in schools and cooking of fresh produce. In addition to teaching children the importance of healthy eating, improving students’ educational achievements through nourishment; this project will extend to the community, building the wellbeing and connectedness of families.

Breakfast ClubBreakfast Club is available to students of Roxburgh Rise Primary School for FREE. It runs every Wednesday morning from 8:15am - 9:00am in the Community Centre.
